I love working with early-career psychologists to help them adjust to new professional roles and expectations, particularly as this can be a daunting time in people’s careers. It is an important time to provide not only skill acquisition but also support as people discover who they are and what path is right for them as a psychologist.
I also greatly enjoy providing ongoing professional supervision for therapists, counsellors, and psychologists, particularly for those with an interest in mind-body work or wanting to work in holistic and integrative ways. More experienced professionals (be they psychologists, counsellors, coaches, social workers etc.) often find supervision helpful as a more reflective practice in terms of understanding process-issues, and in fine-tuning deeper or more-nuanced aspects of working with people. Experienced professionals may also find it helpful to use supervision for discussions around workplace issues, ethical concerns, and career- direction and work-life balance.
I'm accredited to provide Psychology Board approved supervision for those undertaking the Clinical Registrar program.
